Professor Rumina Hasan (MBBS, PhD, FRCPath) is the Abdulaziz Hussainali Shariff Professor Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Aga Khan University Karachi and an Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) UK. She is also a Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, and serves on a number of national and international committees. Dr. Hasan’s research interest include antimicrobial resistance and tuberculosis, her work has further focused on strengthening capacity for infectious disease diagnostics in Pakistan.
